: September 23, 2007Water: Potomac River, MD, Smallwood State Park
Weather: 75 Degrees water Temp, Sunny
Mishaps: 3rd fishing partner was sitting in Jeff's center seat. Upon acceleration to 40 MPH, seat mount pulled out of floor sending buddy falling back. He hit the Garmin GPS and sent it into the water. Fortunately it actually floats.
All in all a good day fishing. Bit was a little tough but we found that downsizing was the key. Fish didn't go for the 7-8" worms or large buzz baits. They went for the small Heddon Torpedo's and smaller 4" worms. Most were caught on wood and docks after the morning grass topwater bite.
